Was so hunger to put this in words, i was a bit lost, soo need to say it out, and wanted to throw it here too, but had no time to do this, now am about to sleep, reserve it first.
Instead, i actually borrow my gals' ears, thank you so much for the ears, my lovely ah Char & Skey. I needed it badly, luckily you were there.

another deal breaker

The last time i online at home was about a month ago, just got my malcolm fixed. And i have a feeling that he's so new & fresh to me, and i starting to fall in love with him all over again.

Oh, the deal breaker, am i that unattractive? Or am i just an unlucky chucky? First the straight boring ladysmith, then the good-looking somebody else's boyfriend, now the cute attached alvaro. All the deal-breakers... I kinna had a day or two down, but i guess i have to move on...
Still waiting for that something good to happen on me...

and the oscar goes to...

Sigh, Julianne Moore didn't make the cut for the nomination, neither does Tom Ford. Anyway, here's my prediction for the winner.

Performance by an actor in a leading role:
Jeff Bridges, “Crazy Heart”

Though i hope it'd be Firth, he was great in a Single Man, but i know this is still not his year, Bridges has got all the love, he could even made Maggie Gyllenhaal got nominated, so it's Bridges.

Performance by an actor in a supporting role:
Christoph Waltz, “Inglourious Basterds”
No question. Well, i've watched Bastards, he's real good.

Performance by an actress in a leading role:
Meryl Streep, “Julie & Julia”
Many say it's Bullock, but i really hope it's Streep, It's time for her third oscar, the last time she won was 28 years ago, and she deserves it. Streep!

Performance by an actress in a supporting role:
Mo’Nique, “Precious”
Hands down.

Best animated feature film:
“Up”

Achievement in directing:
Kathryn Bigelow, “The Hurt Locker”
The first female to win.

Best picture:
“The Hurt Locker”
Avatar is soo boring...

Writing, Adapted Screenplay:
“Up in the Air,” Jason Reitman and Sheldon Turner

Writing, Original Screenplay:
“The Hurt Locker,” Mark Boal

Ha!

a late 1

It's been almost a month since my birthday...
I had this weird thing when i was young, i never liked being the center of attention, so i don't even like my birthday. But as i grow older, i'm feeling more comfortable with it, maybe sometimes i would even enjoyed.
Hmm, this year my birthday was wa... wa... wa... It's was 1 of the worst in years. I didn't even had 1 decent birthday celebration. Ok, i still received plenty of sms on the day, a few calls and that's it. Ya. I blamed it to the CNY, it was too close to the CNY, maybe that's why nobody would give a damn any nonsense happens 2 days before the CNY. Well, i might be ok with that, since i'd never expected anything to happen, but please allow me to feel a bit pathetic... sigh... sob sob... and maybe sad...

Then there goes the CNY, after i got back to KL, i attended a CNY luncheon, oh, i met my louis girl, she bought me a present, i was sooo touch. On top of that, i liked the present sooo much, it's Dolce's anthology perfume! and it's no. 6!!! I like it! Thank you soo much, girl!

Noah Mill who modeled for the L’Amoureux 6

Then when i got back to work, ohh, i got another present from Farina, and it's a Beret! it's from Ted Baker!! it's from London!!! I liked it sooo much too. Muaks Fa!

the Ted Baker's Beret

It actually made my birthday. I was happy. Can't thanked much to them.
After a while, i had a informal birthday brunch with my bff's. It's was nice too. I might not had a happening birthday, but it's the quality that counts. Thank you, gal.

And thanks y'all for the sms and calls too!

Gong Xi Fat Cai

I think it was 1 of the longest time that i gone home. I spent 9 days in hometown this time, i couldn't imagine that. I always think that i wouldn't be able to stay in hometown more than a week, and i never do. Another CNY has passed by. When i was young, i never liked CNY, as i grow older, i still don't like, but i can't deny that it's such a great time for family reunion. It's probably a once a year time for us to get together, and i became more and more appreciate the quality time that we spend.
As usual, a lotta feast, lotta food. I always amazed by my mums' super power, how could she has the endless stamina to do all the things? Cookings, laundry, cleaning, it's really tiring, not only that, she had to work during CNY! Ya, she's still working, and her job never had leave or off day, though she only works 4 days a week.

2nd day of CNY is also my dad's birthday, we celebrate his birthday every year.
My adorable parents & their grandchildren.

And my family is growing bigger, this year my 2nd sis brought her boyfriend to join 1 of our feast also, then there are 14 of us, 14! from the original 6 family members! Sooner the dining table won't be able to fit us. Then i thought could that be 1 day my turn to bring somebody home to join the big family dinner? Not like am having somebody now, even if i do, how would that be appropriate?

My 2 sis & my grandma.
My elder sis, Mrs Heng & Mr Heng & Jason & Regina.

My bro & his daughter
My sis in law & her kids

CNY also a perfect time for old friends gathering, just that i didn't do much this year, i spent more time with my family, ok, it's a sign of aging.
I feel old... Happy CNY!

predictions for 82nd annual academy awards nominations

Eh, just found out actually i didn't do for the last year, but why? i couldn't remember, i thought it was an annual routine for me?!?! Sigh, so kan cheong now, the nomination is like going to announced any minute from now, i've got to do this real quickly.
Actually i didn't have much feeling for this year race, because most of the movies in the running this year isn't my favorite. Except 'A Single Man' i guess, because of Tom Ford + Colin Firth + Julianne Moore, i really hope all of them could get in.
Ok, i'll only do the top 9, well, the rest is gonna be won by Avatar anyway.

Performance by an actor in a leading role:
Jeff Bridges, “Crazy Heart”

George Clooney, “Up in the Air”
Colin Firth, “A Single Man”
Morgan Freeman, “Invictus”
Jeremy Renner, “The Hurt Locker”

Mmm, everybody is talking about these 5, so these are the 5.

Performance by an actor in a supporting role:
Woody Harrelson, “The Messenger”

Matt Damon, “Invictus”
Christopher Plummer, “The Last Station”
Stanley Tucci, “The Lovely Bones”
Christoph Waltz, “Inglourious Basterds”

A race in flux. Except Waltz, i guess everybody else is a fair game. Many others are predicting Molina from "An Education", i put my bet on Damon & Tucci.

Performance by an actress in a leading role:
Sandra Bullock, “The Blind Side”
Helen Mirren, “The Last Station”

Carey Mulligan, “An Education”
Gabourey Sidibe, “Precious”
Meryl Streep, “Julie & Julia”

All seem lock except Mirren, i hope Blunt can get in but she should've been nominated for "The Devil Wears Prada" not this "The Young Victoria", so Mirren is in.

Performance by an actress in a supporting role:
Vera Farmiga, “Up in the Air”
Anna Kendrick, “Up in the Air”
Mo’Nique, “Precious”
Julianne Moore, “A Single Man”

Diane Kruger, “Inglourious Basterds”

I really really hope Moore could get in, her snub at the SAG hurts her badly, but pls, get her in! i don't care much about the rest.

Best animated feature film:
“Coraline”
“Fantastic Mr. Fox”
“Up”

Achievement in directing:
Kathryn Bigelow, “The Hurt Locker”
James Cameron, “Avatar”
Lee Daniels, “Precious”
Jason Reitman, “Up in the Air”
Quentin Tarantino, “Inglourious Basterds”

Best picture:
“Avatar”
“The Hurt Locker”
“Inglourious Basterds”
“Precious”
“Up in the Air”

For directing & best picture, it's pretty obvious & boring, really expect some surprises in the morning.

Writing, Adapted Screenplay:
“District 9” Neill Blomkamp and Terri Tatchell
“An Education,” Nick Hornby
“Precious,” Geoffrey Fletcher
“A Single Man,” Tom Ford
“Up in the Air,” Jason Reitman and Sheldon Turner

Tom Ford plssss.

Writing, Original Screenplay:
“(500) Days of Summer,” Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber
“The Hurt Locker,” Mark Boal
“Inglourious Basterds,” Quentin Tarantino
“A Serious Man,” Ethan Coen, Joel Coen
“Up,” Pete Docter and Bob Peterson

The nominees will be announced by Anne Hathaway in a while...

the diva is back

No matter how hard all the singers has been trying to get the fame, the awards, the publicity, nobody can compared to her... the only real diva in Chinese Song Industry.

She's back with the new song, 幽蘭操, a theme song from the movie 'Confucius' (孔子).
