update from bernard

He's in Manchester now, still haven't found a job, unfortunately. But looks like he's having fun, that isn't so bad after all. Hope he has enough money to survive. Having a chat with him now, apparently he said he's actually going thru a hard time, he has to live with instant noodle and bread for the time being, what to do, travel so much, haven't got a job yet, sigh. Hei, honey, better get a job first lo. Hope he's listening, before he got himself ended up eating shit... Haha, that's what he said. No picture yet from Manchester, anyway i wouldn't want to post his picture, i mean who really wants to look at his face... But couldn't help, i really need to give him a word or two on the pictures he took from the previous tour of Burren & Cliffs of Moher, god knows where the hell is that. Hei, honey, you really need to work on your facial expression, hei, you already don't a decent face, act la prettier a bit, at least smile a bit... I wouldn't want to go to UK looking at the picture taken with your fucking horrible face?!?! Come on, do you really need to be in every single frame you shoot? Don't la ruin the scenery. Can we suffer less while browsing your pictures? Sigh... So, you think i'm kidding? Kinna, don't take it too serious, you are still my favourite girl. Gam ba teh, keep on rocking. PS, maybe taking 1 or 2 pictures of those blonde hot chick would be nicer, although i would love to see the hunks... but i would rather look at chicks instead.

cate

Cate Blanchett is one of my favourite actor, I admire her acting performance. She has an up comming film, I'm Not There, a biopic of Bob Dylan which she plays Bob Dylan. Cate is used to adopting a number of guises. From her breakthrough role as Elizabeth I, which is also my favourite role of her - through to her Oscar-winning turn as Katharine Hepburn in The Aviator - she is as mesmerising playing historical figures as she is modern ones. She has the unique screen attraction which i just couldn't resist.

from skey

Sob sob, she's been gone for 3 weeks, miss her so much. She's fine working in Singapore. She walks 15-20 minutes to take bus to work every morning, then another 15-20 minutes walk after she gets back from work. So unbelievable kan? And of cause, she cried. For the walking? Come on, she cries for everything.
Hei, honey, i'm goona be there soon, hopefully. See you soon.

photoshop award

Even if you are came from Mars, you should noticed that all the publicity pictures now a days are photoshoped, especially pictures that are used in advertising. Ever wonder why Miss Mimi only looks perfect on a album cover? Or why is Madge looks like she's forever 30? (although she doesn't look like the age she is, but not that winkleless!) So, if you think beauty is something you born with, not something you create, how naive? Think again.
Here is a link to a website which offers example of some photoshop jobs. I'm not amazed, because i've seen better. But it's pretty cool. http://www.iwanexstudio.com/
I did a little work on my photo too, See, look how amazing a photo can be done! Sigh, so sad to know that i actually needed a lot of work to be done on my photo. Haha. LOL. Can't stop laughing...

surf's up

Watched it over the weekend, unfortunately not in the cinema. Surf's Up is ingenious and fresh, the mockumentary format of the film is a delightful surprise. Shia LaBeouf (ya, he's everywhre) hits the mark perfectly as Cody Maverick. The movie is fun and entertaining. The main reason i admire the film is becouse it's very surf theme oriented, I always like the sport. I listen to the OST as well, I always go for the soundtrack if i really like the film. Actually, if it's wasn't louis, i wouldn't be so into OST. It would be better if you listen to soundtrack before you watch the movie, i usually do that, when l manage to get the OST before the film.
The Surf's Up OST is a fun summer sampler, it's uplifting. I've been having so much enjoyment listening to the OST.
Before this, i liked the work from Gustavo Santaolalla very much, he's a film composer. His musical style frequently combines elements of rock, soul, African rhythms and Latin American folk. He plays variety of stringed instruments including the guitar, the guitarron, the charango, and the ronroco. I like his work for the film, Brokeback Mountain and The Motorcycle Diaries. Thanks for Charmaine for recommending The Motorcycle Diaries OST.

new era

Advertising has came to a new era, where the target audience has a new definition.
Many brands now actively target the GLBT community, as even the most conservative execs have come to realise that there's just too much money to be made from well-to-do, happy-to-spend GLBT consumers. And merely acknowledging consumers who sadly are used to being ignored if not vilified, does wonders for brand loyalty.

bon voyage

Ha, so farnie that i actually started a blog. I had a frienster 1, but i didn't even write much on that, doubt that i will do the same to this too, bleh. I felt that reading people blog would be a lot more fun than writting myself 1. I said this before, i don't really have a life that is so fabulous to write about, i don't have that much of friends to bitch about, i'm not that up to date that could share out the new thingy, i don't write that much. The last time i posted on my friendster blog was 6 months ago, ha.
Bernard had just gone to UK. I called him the day before, i was feeling so hard when having the last phone call with him before he left. So glad that he did this. So glad that he did this on his own. Wishing something great to happen to him on his coming days. Hope he can make it.
